The Ann Arbor had a small number of gondolas on the roster, used for hauling scrap metal and miscellaneous cargo not subject to adverse weather conditions. Painted black with large billboard lettering during the second DT&I era, you can buy these in HO Scale all day long... but they simply don't exist in N Scale. Fortunately, Trainworx makes an almost perfect version of this gondola and even better, it comes painted black with white lettering in a Rio Grande scheme. A little stripping, some Micro-Scale gothic condensed lettering, consultation with the Craig Wilson bible for accurate numbers, and another quick and easy project to add some unique Ann Arbor equipment to my roster - so easy that I also lettered one of these for the DT&I as well!
